Fun= tending to our cows
We have always wanted cows and after much thought we fenced in a few acres behind our house and added a few commercial cows. We then came across the Black Hereford breed and knew they were what we wanted our herd to consist of. We started making changes and sold a majority of our commercial cows then went and bought registered Herefords and a registered black Hereford bull and then became Louisiana's first black Hereford breeder.
We have 3 kids who are actively involved. The ranch and farm is family operated. We enjoying doing it together and making memories while learning life lessons. For example we learned real quick that cows teach us patience.
